Saturday 24th October
I had just ordered a curry. I was all ready for services the next morning and was looking forward to sitting down with a glass of wine, curry and film.
Then we got the call! We needed to self isolate.
No time for a film after all! A flurry of phone calls and emails ensued. So glad we took the time to set up our mailing list. Has really come into its own in the last few months. Family story time moved online. Associate priest ready to step in and take the Holy Communion service in church and both private baptisms. Thank goodness for wonderful colleagues.
Lovely messages of support and lots of offers of practical help. Thank you all. It makes a huge difference to know you are there.
